…That’s what I’m fucking talking about! Seeing Johnny Depp away from the originally freeing but now just hamstringing presence of Tim Burton and company is a welcome sight. Working with a new director and cast clearly pushed Depp the way he needed to be pushed. My faith has been restored! Now if he would just leave any future Burton projects alone…I can hope, can’t I?
